Custom Remote Profiles
Custom Remote Profiles can be configured to control any application or feature of your choice. The user interface is fully customisable through the Remote Profile Designer.

The rest of this page covers the different elements of a custom remote profile. The Windows Media Player (WMP) is used in all examples.
The Remote Profile Design is represented by the phone icon. To edit the design, select the phone icon then press Edit->Edit from the main menu. This will load the Remote Profile Designer.

The Key Commands group holds commands or macros that can be mapped to the keys on your phone. View the Command Setup or Macro Setup topics for instructions on how to add commands or macros.

The Menus group holds menus that can be opened on your phone when the profile is active. View the Profile Menus topic for more information about Remote Profile menus.

The Dialogs group holds dialogs that can be opened on your phone when the profile is active. View the Profile Dialogs topic for more information about Remote Profile dialogs.

The Data bindings group holds Data bindings that are generated by the Remote Profile Designer. Each data binding generated by the designer will include a data sink. The user is required to add the appropriate data source from the setup panel to each data binding that will show live information. For example, media player track time or volume.

The TextBoxTrack data binding has been expanded to show the data sink and data source. The TextBoxTrack data sink was generated by the Remote Profile Designer. The WMP Track Name data source was added from the Applications->Windows Media Player->Data Sources option in the Setup panel.
The Close profile command lets the user choose which key on their phone will close the remote profile. View the Command Setup topic for instructions on how to map a key to the command through an Event.
