Remote Profile Data Bindings

If you haven't read the Data Bindings Overview topic yet, please do so now.

Remote profile data bindings facilitate the streaming of live data from your PC to a remote profile loaded on your phone. Examples of data that may be sent through a data binding are media player track position, volume and track name.

The Remote Profile Designer generates the data bindings and they are loaded into the Data bindings group of each remote profile when the designer is closed.

The following example shows the Data bindings for the WMP profile:

The TextBoxTrack data binding has been expanded to show the data sink and data source. The TextBoxTrack data sink was generated by the Remote Profile Designer. The WMP Track Name data source was added from the Applications->Windows Media Player->Data Sources option in the Setup panel.
