Remote Profile Dialogs
Remote Profile Dialogs can be opened from a Remote Profile when loaded on your phone to provide additional functionality. Vectir currently supports the following dialog types:
The following example shows a profile with a Help dialog and a Text Entry dialog:
Help Dialogs are used to show help information and useful tips about a Remote Profile.
For Custom Remote Profiles, help dialogs are created through the Remote Profile Designer. When the designer is closed, all help dialogs that were added to the design will appear in the Dialogs group of the remote profile.
Desktop Remote Profiles have a fixed Help dialog. To edit this dialog, select the Help dialog in the Dialogs group of the Desktop Remote profile then select Edit->Edit from the main menu.
Each help dialog has a fixed Launch dialog command and Close dialog command. These commands must be mapped to keys on your phone before the help dialog can be used. View the Event Setup instructions for help with mapping keys on your phone to the Launch dialog command and Close dialog command.
If you have already setup the Close Profile Command for your Remote Profile it is recommended that you use the same key to close the dialog that is used to close the profile. In this case, copy the event mapped to your the Close Profile Command and paste it onto the Close menu command of your profile menu.
The following example shows the help dialog Launch dialog command and Close dialog command with events setup for the specified keys:
Text Entry Dialogs let the user enter text into a screen on their phone and then send it their PC. The text is regenerated at the PC with simulated keyboard keystrokes.

There are no Close Dialog commands associated with Text Entry dialogs. This is because the Text Entry dialog is handled by the phones operating system.
