Vectir PC version 3.2 is now available. This version includes a number of updates focused on improving remote media library management. Media library search is now available for iTunes, WMP and Winamp. Voice search is also available if using the Vectir Android remote control app. Many new context menu commands have been added for improved control over how music is played or managed. These updates require the latest remote profiles and Vectir Android or Windows Phone 8 remote control apps. Vectir for Android version 3.1 will be uploaded and available soon. The latest WP8 remote control app will be available in a couple of weeks after it has passed certification.

Vectir Windows Phone 8 Remote Control App 3.0.1 has passed certification and is available in Windows Phone store. The Windows Phone store app on your phone should now show an update. If not, either search for Vectir remote from the app store on your Windows phone or download the xap from the Vectir remote control Windows phone store page.
There are no major updates in this release – just a few minor bug fixes and updates. If the back button is pressed while loading a remote, the app no longer crashes. The timeout issue when loading a remote should also now be fixed. There is also an update for menu text size to follow the text size in the menu design loaded from the server.

The new Android remote control app is now published and available in the Android app store! It can be viewed on the Vectir Remote Control page in the Google play store. Make sure you don’t install the old Bluetooth or WiFi remote control apps. These apps are only supported for backward compatibility. The new Android Vectir Remote Control app (v3.0) combines Bluetooth and WiFi remote control in the same app. It also includes a number of new features including a comprehensive server manager, Wake on LAN, new remote selection screen with icons, menu images and command parameters. You must be running server version 3.1.0 or later for compatibility with the new Android app.

Vectir server 3.1.0 has been released including a free version. Feature comparisons between the full and free versions can be viewed on the PC server download page. This version includes a number of updates for the new Android client along with some updates to improve remote profile load time. The entire application has also been made translatable and a Spanish translation has been included. More translations are planned for future releases. If you would like to help out with a translation for a language that is not yet supported please send an email to Vectir support (address on support page).

A beta release of the new Vectir Android remote control app is available. Please email Vectir support if you would like to try it and we will send you the download details. This version combines the existing WiFi and Bluetooth apps into one and provides a number of new updates and features including a comprehensive server manager, new profile selection screen with icons, menu icons and Wake on LAN.

The Vectir Windows Phone 8 remote control app is now available in the Windows Phone store. Either search for Vectir remote from the app store on your Windows phone or download the xap from the Vectir remote control Windows phone store page.
The WP8 app currently only supports WiFi connectivity but there are plans to add Bluetooth soon. Otherwise it is is fully functional as a universal PC remote control with all of the features available in the Android app plus more.
Any feedback about the WP8 remote control app would be highly appreciated!

Vectir 3.0.0 has been released today ready for the upcoming Windows Phone 8 client. This version features some significant new features including remote icons and menu images. Remote icons can be loaded in the remote profile designer and are used in the new remote gallery view on the client. Menu images are now supported in the remote menu designer and help with menu navigation on the client.

Incendo Technology is pleased to announce the release of Vectir 2.7.3. This version brings a number of PowerPoint remote control updates and new features. It is now possible to view PowerPoint notes from your phone during a presentation as well as keep track of your presentation time with a new presentation timer. All of the PowerPoint remote profiles have been updated and are available from the remote profiles download page.
To support the latest features, the remote profile designer has been updated to include a TextView dialog and multiline textbox.
For full compatibility with the latest changes the latest Vectir mobile software is required (Bluetooth version 2.7.2 or later and WiFi version 1.6.4 or later). The J2ME versions are available now on the mobile download page. These versions will also be available on the Google Play, Blackberry, Nokia and other app stores over the new few days.

Incendo Technology is pleased to announce the release of Vectir 2.7.2. This release features remote profile designer updates to support landscape profiles. A zoom feature has also been added to the designer to help with designing profiles for devices with large screen resolutions. The latest mobile software must be installed for compatibility with landscape profiles (WiFi version 1.6.3 and Bluetooth version 2.7.1). These versions are available on the Vectir website now and will become available in various app stores over the next few days.
