Vectir 3.7.6 featuring support for a new virtual Windows keyboard has been released. The new virtual keyboard is included with the latest Vectir app for Android and Windows Phone 8. Both Vectir PC server and mobile app version 3.7.6 should be installed for compatibility with this feature. All important Windows keys are now accessible as the same time as the devices virtual keyboard. The new keys include Ctrl, Shift, Alt, Win, Tab, Esc, Home, End, Page up, Page down, Ins, Plus, Minus, Arrow and function keys. It is now also possible to correctly simulate alt + tab key presses remotely.
Also included in the latest Vectir server is a new sub-remote mode. The two sub-remote modes are link and reload. Link mode will operate just like the existing version where sub-remotes can be linked down to n levels. Back navigation will navigate back through the remotes. The new reload mode will replace the existing remote in back navigation. Back navigation from a sub-remote loaded with in reload mode will go back to the main remote profile list or the homescreen.
The Spotify plugin has also received some updates including changes to make the starred tracks playlist available again.
Summary of updates in Vectir 3.7.6:
- Support for extended keyboard in latest mobile app
- New sub-remote mode added
