Macro Delays and Repeats

1. Macro Delays

A Macro Delay is an item that can be inserted between macro commands generate a pause.

To add a Macro Delay to your macro, select the Commands group then select Macros->Add Delay from the main menu.

The following example shows a macro with 1 second delays inserted between Master Volume Down commands. This macro will ramp down the master volume by sending Master Volume Down commands every 1s.

Note: The commands and delays in the Commands folder can be moved up and down with the Move Up and Move Down items in the Edit menu.

2. Macro Repeats

A Macro Repeat is an item that can be added to the macro Commands folder to repeat the macro a specified number of times.

To add a Macro Repeat to your macro, select the Commands group then select Macros->Add Repeat from the main menu.

The following example uses a Macro Repeat to ramp down the master volume a total of five times with a 1 second delay between commands.

3. Editing Macro Delays and Repeats

If you need to edit a macro delay or repeat, select the item then select Edit->Edit from the main menu.
